Grant Barra

Senior Vice President of Operations

Grant oversees the RELI Exchange Agency Partner Network expansion, and is integrating Reliance Global Group’s proprietary Insurtech offerings to accelerate growth.

Mr. Barra brings over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. In 2008, he founded Barra & Associates and served as CEO until its acquisition by Reliance Global Group in 2022. Barra & Associates quickly grew to become a recognized provider of both personal and commercial insurance products, including property and casualty, life, health and other insurance products. Along with founding Barra & Associates, he served in a leadership role for a single life carrier, where he focused on recruitment, development, and motivating independent agents to sell life insurance products. Earlier in his career, he founded Grant Barra Agency, providing all lines of insurance policies under a captive agency agreement. Mr. Barra received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University, in addition to earning a certificate in contract law with Harvard University (HarvardX). He is a Chartered Leadership Fellow and a member of the Life Underwriting Training Council at The American College of Financial Services.

Ezra Beyman

Chairman + CEO

Mr. Beyman brings nearly three decades of entrepreneurial experience in real estate and ten years in insurance. His portfolio of commercial and residential properties at one point consisted of more than 40,000 residential units, as well as several insurance companies. In 1985, he founded his first mortgage brokerage, which rapidly grew into the third largest licensed mortgage brokerage in America by 2008. He also expanded to real estate acquisition, having grown his portfolio at one point, to over three billion dollars.

Michael Dobek

Chief Operating Officer

Michael has over 11 years of insurance industry experience with over 10 of those years with Barra & Associates where he was responsible for overseeing the agency’s operations. His primary focus was on driving revenue into the agency by recruiting, mentoring and coaching Agency Partners. He has a well-rounded knowledge base of all lines of insurance but his expertise falls within the commercial and personal lines of property and casualty. Michael previously helped to grow a BPO call center from 20 agents to over 400 agents who all focused on health insurance. Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Arkansas Grantham.

Yaakov Beyman

Mr. Beyman oversees the overall insurance operations of Reliance, including strategy and developing/implementing operational tools. He holds insurance licenses in most of the continental United States, and is involved heavily in marketing, maintaining state of the art technological models, financial management and distributions, and entity creation and maintenance.

Moshe Fishman

Senior Vice President of Insurtech and Strategic Ventures

Moshe joined Reliance Global Group in early 2021, shortly after its listing on NASDAQ. Prior to joining Reliance he founded and operated 2 successful insurance businesses, Fishman Insurance Agency and Tekeno Financial. When Mr. Fishman entered the insurance industry in 2014, he was a recognized guru in the travel industry, seeking to introduce technology to an industry that was slow to the adaptation of technology. A visionary in the InsurTech and FinTech space. Moshe applies his entrepreneurship skills and tech savviness to the operations and business development of Reliance and is one of the driving talents of the Insurtech business development and operations of RELI Exchange & 5MinuteInsure.com as well as other strategic ventures of Reliance.

Jonathan Fortman

V.P. of Acquisitions

Prior to joining Reliance, Mr. Fortman has spent the last 18 years operating, owning and expanding his families multiple line insurance agency at Fortman Insurance Services. Along with being a principal of the agency, he also specializes in sales, retention, growth and service for the agencies large book of Employee Benefit clients. He brings an extensive level of agency management experience as well as providing growth strategies for newly acquired agencies.

Joel Markovits, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Joel joined Reliance Global Group in June 2021, bringing over 12 years of financial and accounting experience in both the public and private sectors.

Prior to joining Reliance Global Group, Joel was a senior manager at KPMG LLP from April 2015 through May 2021, where he led some of the larger and more complex audit engagements, including serving as lead audit senior manager on a global $16 billion (annual revenues) enterprise reporting on both US GAAP and IFRS standards. He was also a data & analytics specialist and technology innovation leader at KPMG for its largest US Business Unit, overseeing the development and deployment of technological capabilities that enhance data analyses. Joel is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey since November 2013.

Miriam Spitz

Director of Treasury Services

Miriam has been with Reliance Global Group since its inception and has been instrumental in overseeing the entire finance department.
